About Carsten Boysen Jensen

My name is Carsten Boysen Jensen and I was born in 1976.

I believe in love and the free will. I think everybody has the right to have their own opinions and to make decisions for them selves. As a starting point I believe in the good in everybody.

In 1997 my smaller brother died of a birthdefect that no-one knew about. He was 18 years old.

In late 1999 I got a very dark depression. Because I didn't find help in the psychiatric system and its methods I chose to help myself. It became a long and hard battle where I went deep inside myself and found answers to many questions, including why I got depressions. It stole 4 years of my life to get through it, but it was worth it. Today I know myself and I have not since felt any depressions or the like. It changed me, but the good way and today I'm happy for the experience I got about life and myself through the process.

In December 2006 I met a sweet African girl, who I instantly fell in love with. She is now my fiance.

About writing

I have always been very fond of writing. I don't know exactly when the interest started or why. But for as long as I remember, have I been writing stories. My hope is that I one day gets something published and is able to earn my living that way.

Computers and I

Registered Linux User #302447

I have been using computers since 1988. I started with an Commodore 64. Switched to Commodore Amiga 500 in 1989 and added an Commodore CDTV in 1991, that I used for all my work until it died in 1999. Then I got my first PC and used Microsoft Windows for some years. I switched to Linux in 2001.

Moreover I worked at an Apple PowerPC in 1995-1996.

I'm a strong believer in Free Software and my Operating System of choice is GNU/Linux.
