Yesterday, April 30 I got a paper letter from Domain Renewal Group informing me that my domain was about to expire. Well I already knew that and had just renewed it.
But I did get a strange feeling getting that kind of letter. It was not a company I knew of and got a sense that it was a scam. Anyway, the price they wanted me to pay to renew the domain was more than double of what I pay now...

It confirmed to me that it was a scam. Alone the fact that they used my address from the whois-database for trade is enough for me to warn everybody about them.
I just wonder how many fall for this kind of trick? I can imagine its quite many, given the naive nature of many people around the world...
